They offer two beautifully decorated bedrooms. The “Kuba” room, (named after the African raffia hangings on the walls), has an en-suite shower room, and the “Toile” room, decorated in the French country style, has a private bathroom across the landing. Both rooms have flat screen TVs, hair-dryers and hospitality trays.
Guests have their own sitting-room decorated with hops, English paintings and a grand piano, or can take tea in a pretty garden with terrific views.
You’ll enjoy a wide choice for breakfast – English or Continental – even Eggs Benedict or Kedgeree, using ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.
Hawkhurst, the largest village in Kent, boasts great shops and activities including the Kino digital cinema. Set in the heart of the Weald, Hawkhurst is ideally situated for visiting such famous sites as Great Dixter, Sissinghurst Castle, Pashley Manor, Bodiam Castle, Bedgbury Pinetum and Scotney Castle, or for exercising at Bewl Water, Camber Sands, Rye and Hastings.
Traditional pubs and restaurants abound nearby, (including two which are Michelin star graded).
